North 10th was built in 1962 and though it had a good amount of character some of the rooms and finishes were a bit dated and worn out. The plan was to lighten up the house with all new paint including the ceilings, refinish and expose (in places) the orginal hardwood floor. New cabinets were installed with walnut countertops for the kitchen. Downstairs in the family room the floppy paneling was removed, insulation added along with new drywall and a horizontal pine feature wall. The first floor bath was retiled both floor and shower, along with repainted cabinets, relocated lighting and new plumbing fixtures. Solid 5 panel doors replaced many of the hollow core doors along with new hardware throughout.
